Keesha Amezcua

Keesha has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California, Oregon and Texas (CA license #49075, OR license #1573, TX license #203496). Keesha is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist-Supervisor and a Certified Daring Way Facilitator. She is also trained in EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Previously, Keesha served as the Vice President of Clinical Programming for Monte Nido & Affiliates, an organization where she worked for almost 13 years. Keesha's eating disorder training was done under the supervision and mentorship of Carolyn Costin, founder of Monte Nido and pioneer in the field. She has contributed to several eating disorder books and frequently speaks at conferences. Keesha offers supervision to new therapists as well as Certified Eating Disorder Specialist candidates.
Prior to making her way to therapy, she graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Journalism. Keesha worked in magazine editorial, television production and marketing/advertising.
In her free time, Keesha enjoys her busy role as mom to three little ones. She also loves reading, hiking, traveling and being with friends and family.
